In many ways this is a work about communism. I recall having this thought about my hands as the labouring force of my body. They are fed up with always taking orders from the head, which in this case symbolizes the higher society. One day they decide to strike back with a so called power transplant. This indicates the hand switching position with the head and performing the change of political power back to the workers. As in the communistic revolution there ways were often brutal and violent. The title “Red right hand” refers to the color of communism, but could just as well be seen as something bloody and cruel.
